CAA-ECE Membership

CAA-ECE is a 501c3 non-profit organization that focuses on developing educators through apprenticeships and internships. We have a vision to develop highly qualified staff to lead our centers and ensure that African American children and children of color are supported. Our members get access to professional development opportunities, mentorship, and resources to stay current on best practices in the field.

The goals of membership are to increase quality, strengthen a collective voice within the field of early education and provide the business community with an ultimate goal of best outcomes for African American children, children of color and their families. Quality is defined by education and experience in the field of ECE. A program may be of good quality but not rated due to inequities in the field or by decision of the business owner, therefore, the SUTQ rating requirements guide our practice, but does not prevent involvement
